Dementia Care Manager

Job Description :

They provide a bespoke support service that’s tailored to the individual needs of each client and they go to great lengths to ensure that each carer will fit in effortlessly with their client’s home life and situation.

Due to an exciting expansion of our client's services, they are looking to immediately recruit a new Dementia Care Manager , who will look after their clients predominately based in West and South-West London.

Key tasks
To work closely with the Dementia Team to ensure smooth day to day running of the service, including providing support to the team, clients, and the carers and attending to emergencies
To be responsible for the recruitment, supervision, appraisal, induction, development and performance management of support workers working within the service to provide high-quality care for dementia clients
To liaise with families or/and office team members to provide a consistent approach that meets the individual needs of each client
To assist the clients in achieving the outcomes of their set goals as identified in their support plans


Skills / Experience

  • Experience of managing services for people with dementia

  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team and work positively in a diverse environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to guide and motivate others with excellent organisational skills

  • Be able to communicate clearly and tactfully at different levels

  • A relevant professional qualification and/or a relevant management qualification is desirable

  • Strong presentation skills.

There will be a two-stage face to face interview process in which one will be a presentation.

The person must be very personable and able to build relationships and build trust quickly with clients

Salary: 35,000.00 - £37,500.00 Per Annum

Occupational Health Advisor (North London)

Job Description :

As a peripatetic occupational health advisor you will work with a multitude of clients across multiple industries to enable them to utilise our client’s wide range of clinical skills to deliver proactive and reactive services.

This role supports the company ongoing development whilst retaining clinical skills and client interaction. With a range of duties including health screening, case management and delivering proactive services including wellbeing sessions and training, you will be part of a team that engages with clients and employees on a daily basis to deliver the best services possible

The ideal candidate will combine the highest clinical skills with a go getter attitude ensuring the company delivers the best services.

Candidate Requirements

The person;

  • Qualified Occupational Health Advisor/Nurse (RGN)

  • SCPHN desirable

  • High technical knowledge with ability to communicate effectively

  • Passionate about occupational health and safety

  • Great communication skills both written and face to face

  • Good computer literacy

  • Thrives on challenge, variety and making a difference

  • Full driving license
